Demetrious Johnson shares what he and Henry Cejudo usually talk about

They may have battled in the fiercest of fights, but Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo are now friends who share a lot of common interests. ‘Mighty Mouse’ intimated this in a recent Ask Me Anything session on Reddit MMA hosted by ONE Championship.

Among the questions asked of Demetrious Johnson was one pertaining to his relationship with his one-time rival Henry Cejudo and what it was like hanging out together. One fan asked:

“How's it been hanging out with Cejudo? What kind of stuff do you talk about?”

Johnson replied:

“Johnson replied: its been dope, we talk about everything. life/investment/youtube/fighting etc”

The two flyweight greats battled in two world title clashes in the past when they were both under the UFC. Demetrious Johnson won the first fight and successfully defended the UFC flyweight world title via a first-round TKO in 2016. Henry Cejudo then exacted payback and became world champion two years later with a split decision win.

Months after the second fight, ‘Mighty Mouse’ was traded to ONE Championship, where he has enjoyed continued success. He is the promotion’s reigning ONE flyweight world champion with five wins in the promotion.

Johnson will try to defend his world title against former division king Adriano Moraes in a trilogy fight that will headline ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video on May 5 at 1stBank Center Colorado, U.S.A.

The event is the first-ever live on-ground offering of ONE Championship in the United States. It will be aired live and for free to all North American fans with an active Prime Video subscription.
