Joe Rogan was brought up in a recent Zeteo sitdown, which saw Ryan Grim and Don Calloway speak to its founder, Mehdi Hasan, about the United States' political climate. Grim expressed his dismay over Harris ultimately opting against appearing on Rogan's podcast.
This led to further talk about Rogan's past political leanings, with Grim pointing out that in 2020, the UFC color commentator endorsed Bernie Sanders, who sought to run for president as a nominee of the Democratic Party, with whom he has close ties.
When Hasan pointed out that Democrats need a Rogan of their own, Grim was quick to remind all of Rogan's past support for Sanders. He said:
"Democrats had their own Joe Rogan. Joe Rogan endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2020."

Despite Rogan previously claiming that he was against hosting any presidential candidates on his podcast to avoid unintentionally helping anyone with their campaign, Rogan has since walked back on his claims.
The UFC commentator recently welcomed President-elect Donald Trump to his podcast, with episode #2219 becoming the second-most viewed episode in the podcast's history. He was also similarly willing to host Kamala Harris, who was the Democratic Party's nominee for the 2024 United States presidential elections.
Unfortunately, that did not come to pass despite many being curious about how it would have gone.

Following Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 United States presidential elections, the former Fear Factor host took to X/Twitter to react. He wasn't alone, as several fighters tweeted out in support of Trump's victory. Rogan tweeted:

Elon Musk, the world's richest man (Forbes) and tech juggernaut, was also elated by the news of Trump's election win. In fact, he was a crucial part of the final stretch of Trump's presidential campaign.
