An interim queen will be crowned in Stamp Fairtex's absence when Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna collide at ONE Fight Night 25.
The duo will go toe-to-toe for the ONE interim atomweight MMA world championship on the card, which broadcasts live in U.S. primetime on Oct. 4 from the revered Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
ONE Championship broke the news on their official site yesterday.
For No. 2 ranked Denice Zamboanga, this upcoming five-round tilt is one she had been after following Stamp's withdrawal from their world title fixture at ONE 167 this past June.

The three-sport queen was forced out of the tie after picking up a torn meniscus deep just a couple of weeks from her showdown against her former Fairtex Training Center teammate.
As a result, the Filipina athlete squared off with Noelle Grandjean, whom she overcame with a clear-cut unanimous decision win.
Before that, the 27-year-old star fought her way to victory over two tough assignments, Julie Mezabarba and Lin Heqin. She now finds herself on a three-match win streak as she zeroes in on her first dance for 26 pounds of gold on the global stage of the organization.
Denice Zamboanga will be up against a tricky task in Alyona Rassohyna
Looking to wipe out her dream of hoisting the coveted strap is No.4-ranked Rassohyna.
A grappling specialist in her own right, with 11 of her 13 career victories coming on the canvas, the Ukrainian veteran is out to score a massive win over Zamboanga to set herself up for a rubber match versus Stamp.
The 34-year-old became the first athlete to hand the Thai megastar a defeat when she submitted her seconds before the buzzer via a guillotine choke.
Though Stamp would go on to redeem herself eight months later, Rassohyna fought with plenty of heart and went down only via split decision.
With a trilogy match on the horizon for the Ukranian and a chance for Denice Zamboanga to realize her dream of facing her former sparring partner, fans can expect both women to go for broke when they lock horns at ONE Fight Night 25 on Oct. 4.
