Denice Zamboanga is all about giving fans their money's worth and she certainly wants to indulge the striking-hungry crowd at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
'The Menace' will trade heavy leather with Alyona Rassohyna this Friday inside the 'Mecca of Muay Thai', with the victor being crowned the interim atomweight MMA world champion at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs Abdullaev on Prime Video.
Speaking to the Bangkok Post's Nick Atkin in her pre-event interview, Zamboanga revealed that she'll most likely lean on her much-improved striking to outclass the Ukrainian submission specialist.
"I prefer the cage. But ring, maybe I’ll become a striker when it becomes a ring."

Denice Zamboanga earned her no.2 spot in the atomweight MMA rankings following a three-fight winning streak, where she showcased her unmatched versatility from the feet and the ground.
Then again, it's her refined boxing that powered her to a world title shot. If she can let her hands go once more, then the 26 pounds of gold is as good as hers.
Before the biggest fight of her life, the Filipina star also took the time to thank everyone who believed in her abilities. She added:
"I just want to thank my fans and supporters, my family, and my church for all the prayers that you’ve been doing [for] me. I’m not here without you guys. Thank you to all my team and coaches."
Denice Zamboanga setting affinity for Stamp aside in possible unification tilt
It's no secret that former teammates Denice Zamboanga and atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex remained close despite going their separate ways.
If 'The Menace' fulfills her dream and captures the interim belt, she knows a date with destiny against her friend will be what's next.
While Zamboanga doesn't want to get ahead of herself, she addressed a possible showdown with Stamp in the same interview:
"Friendship and business are different. When I step into the circle, I do whatever it takes to become a champion."
ONE Fight Night 27 will air live in US Primetime on Jan. 10, free for Prime Video subscribers in North America.
