ONE interim women's atomweight MMA world title challenger 'The Menace' Denice Zamboanga of the Philippines is confident in her ability to roll against one of the most dangerous grapplers in her division.
Zamboanga believes she can hold her own against No.4-ranked atomweight contender Alyona Rassohyna of Ukraine when the two meet in the ring this weekend.

"I want to test her grappling. I haven’t seen her face a pure grappler or wrestler, as she’s faced strikers. That’s why she always dominates the ground game. She hasn’t faced someone like me. I want to prove that I’m better than her on the ground."
The No. 2-ranked Zamboanga is set to challenge for the interim gold this weekend. It is the Filipina superstar's first opportunity at a ONE world title.
Meanwhile, Rassohyna is returning to action for the first time since 2021, after having dealt with the political turmoil in her home country.

Filipina MMA standout 'The Menace' Denice Zamboanga is set to face Ukrainian fighter Alyona Rassohyna for the ONE interim women's atomweight MMA world title.
The two lock horns at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev on Prime Video, which broadcasts live in U.S. primetime from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, Jan. 10.
