Denice Zamboanga has worked incredibly hard to get to where she is currently at in her career. During her time in ONE Championship, the No.2-ranked atomweight MMA contender has faced many setbacks both inside and outside of the cage.
She suffered her only losses in the promotion in back-to-back fights with Ham Seo Hee. Then, she sustained injuries that have delayed her next matchup. Denice Zamboanga has come a long way
Denice Zamboanga knows what she is capable of thanks to the trials and tribulations that she has faced in recent years. After being beaten by Ham Seo Hee in consecutive fights, it could've totally derailed her confidence as her former foe ascended up the division in her place.
However, fight-by-fight, she has clawed her way back up and is now riding a three-fight winning streak with decision victories over Noelle Grandjean, Julie Mezabarba and Lin Heqin.
We have seen her improve with each performance and that is sure to be the case once again on Jan. 10 when Zamboanga will look to finally reap the rewards of her hard work.
ONE Fight Night 27 will be available to all active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America live in U.S. primetime for free.
