Second-ranked ONE Championship women's atomweight MMA contender 'The Menace' Denice Zamboanga of the Philippines admits she isn't exactly a hundred percent heading into her all-important next fight, but that it also doesn't matter.

She's not pulling out of this fight for anything in the world.

Zamboanga is set to battle the Ukraine's Alyona Rassohyna for the ONE interim women's atomweight MMA throne next weekend, and she can't wait for the chance to finally compete for ONE Championship gold.

Speaking to YouTube channel, The MMA Superfan, in a recent interview, Zamboanga says that even though she's still dealing with a slight injury, she is pushing through the pain to make her world title dreams a reality.

The 27-year-old Quezon City resident stated:

"When the announcement came, I didn’t really expect that I would fight again this soon. But I did file that I am cleared to fight again, and I told ONE that I want to fight even if it’s not 100 percent because I really want to get the fight over with. It’s not just me who wants this fight to happen already, the people are also looking forward to it."

Needless to say, Zamboanga won't let any injury stop her from achieving her goal of winning the gold in the world's largest martial arts organization.
