Second-ranked ONE Championship women's atomweight MMA contender 'The Menace' Denice Zamboanga of the Philippines is now hundred percent fully recovered from her previous injury and ready to finally compete for a ONE world title.
The Filipina star was originally scheduled to face Ukraine's Alyona Rassohyna earlier this year for the interim gold, in the absence of divisional queen Stamp Fairtex who is currently recovering from an injury of her own.
However, Zamboanga was forced to pull out of that fight due to an injury in the training camp. Now that the fight has been rescheduled, Zamboanga's fiance and fellow ONE Championship athlete Fritz Biagtan says 'The Menace' is ready to seize the moment.
Biagtan, who also serves as Zamboanga's trainer, says she has used her injury time to figure out Rassohyna's quirks.

Biagtan told ABS-CBN sports in a recent interview:
"Of course, she was a little bit discouraged [with the injury], because she was thinking that this is the interim World Title fight, this is go-time. When she got injured, we looked at it as a sign that [she has] to take a rest, [she needs] time to study [her] opponent. And that's something that we did."
Zamboanga is deep in training camp again, but this time, she vows to make it across the finish line.
