Denice Zamboanga will forever be grateful for the time she spent at Fairtex Training Center and Marrok Force in Thailand.
However, at the end of the day, home will forever still be where her heart is. 'The Menace' moved back to her home country and set up shop at TREX MMA in the Philippines, training alongside her brother Drex Zamboanga, and fiance Fritz Biagtan.
Needless to say, that decision paid off big time, as she is now on the cusp of realizing her dream of becoming a world champion.
Zamboanga will vie for the interim atomweight MMA world title against Alyona Rassohyna at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs Abdullaev on Prime Video on Jan. 10 inside the fabled halls of Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium.

Denice Zamboanga believes Alyona Rassohyna's inactivity will cost her big-time
Denice Zamboanga believes she possesses superior skills over Alyona Rassohyna both on the feet and the ground.

Rassohyna last fought back in 2021 in a losing effort against atomweight MMA queen Stamp Fairtex. Zamboanga told The MMA Superfan:
"I also feel that her being inactive over the past few years while I have been fighting. Those are the advantages that I think I’ll carry."
