Derrick Lewis is currently scheduled to headline the UFC Fight Night event in Las Vegas this weekend. 'The Black Beast' is set to take on Sergey Spivak in the main event. Lewis is currently on a two-fight losing streak in the organization and will look to avoid a dreaded third back-to-back defeat in the UFC.
Sergei Pavlovich and Tai Tuivasa both finished Lewis inside two rounds. The 37-year-old last won back in 2021 when he stopped Chris Daukaus in the very first round.
Lewis' upcoming opponent, Sergey Spivak, is currently in great form. He won his last two UFC outings via stoppage. 'Polar Bear' managed to finish Augusto Sakai and Greg Hardy inside two rounds.

Spivak has only fought under the UFC banner on nine occasions, with the Ukrainian losing three times during his nine outings. Walt Harris defeated 'Polar Bear' on his UFC debut in 2019 via first-round finish.
Marcin Tybura and Tom Aspinall are the only other UFC fighters to defeat Spivak. The Ukrainian has scored huge wins against the likes of Tai Tuivasa, Aleksei Oleinik, and Augusto Sakai.
Has Derrick Lewis competed in Bellator?
Yes. Derrick Lewis fought just once under the Bellator banner, with the American losing in his debut in the organization. Tony Johnson Jr. managed to beat 'The Black Beast' via unanimous decision at Bellator 46: 2011 Summer Series 1 back in 2011.
Johnson Jr. was only the second fighter to defeat Lewis in professional MMA. Shawn Jordan also got the better of the current UFC heavyweight during his second professional MMA outing.
After losing to Tony Johnson Jr. on his Bellator debut, Lewis remained unbeaten during his next eight professional MMA outings and transitioned into the UFC during this good run of form. His winning streak was eventually ended by Matt Mitrione at UFC Fight Night 50.
