UFC star Israel Adesanya's purse took a hit due to the outcome of the Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia fight on April 20.

'The Last Stylebender' uploaded a post to his Instagram account that showed that he had placed a $20,000 bet on Haney to emerge victorious.

Unfortunately for Adesanya, 'The Dream' ended up losing the fight, suffering the first loss of his professional career.

The highly anticipated grudge match between Haney and 'KingRy' took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The fight was originally scheduled for the WBC super lightweight title. But at the weigh-ins, Garcia came in overweight by 3.2 pounds, becoming ineligible to win the title.

The contest started on a thrilling note as Garcia landed a heavy left hand in the opening round that stunned Haney.

'The Dream' returned the favor in the third round by landing a brutal left hand of his own, rocking Garcia.

One of the biggest moments of the fight came in the seventh round when Garcia managed to score a knockdown. The moment marked the first time 'The Dream' had ever been knocked down in his professional boxing career.

'KingRy' built on his impressive performance by repeating the knockdown feat in the 10th and 11th rounds.
