Devin Haney shared a photo of his post-fight meal after defeating Vasiliy Lomachenko.
Despite being only 24 years old, Haney continues to take risks and emerge victorious. On Saturday night, ‘The Dream’ put his undisputed lightweight status on the line against Lomachenko, a savvy boxing veteran. After 12 extremely close rounds, the undefeated American had his hand raised by unanimous decision.
The majority of fans and fighters believe Lomachenko should have been awarded the win. Haney isn’t letting the backlash affect him, leading to his nonchalant Instagram post showcasing his celebratory meal, a massive bowl of yogurt, granola, crackers, and more.
Haney’s Instagram post went viral on Twitter, leading to various reactions in the comment section, including some saying:

“Why is he eating dog biscuits?”
“wtf is that”
“His daddy let him take 3 bites of cookie soup for not getting finished”
“Put a chain on to eat custard creams in his bed”
“He deserves it”
Devin Haney’s win on Saturday night extended his undefeated boxing record to 30-0. Although he might be currently receiving backlash, the 24-year-old has proved he’s one of the best young boxers on the planet. Meanwhile, Lomachenko hopes to receive a rematch after suffering a severe setback at 35 years old.
Devin Haney’s father isn’t interested in a rematch against Vasiliy Lomachenko
Vasiliy Lomachenko didn’t have a rematch clause because he was the title challenger. With that said, the Ukrainian former world champion and his manager would like a rematch because the result was controversial. Unfortunately for them, Devin Haney’s father, Bill, had this to say during a post-fight interview backstage:
“I don’t see where it would have been that close to be a rematch. Of course, Devin is the boss, we have to talk to him. He only wants to be involved in big fights. This was a big fight, but it wasn’t close."
Shortly after the decision was announced, undefeated American Shakur Stevenson (20-0) entered the ring and called out Haney. If ‘The Dream’ decides to stay at lightweight, the two young superstars could meet for an undisputed super-fight later this year.
