Diandra Martin ready to put on ‘a good show’ against Jackie Buntan

Australian female firecracker Diandra Martin has the opportunity of a lifetime as she heads to the United States for the biggest fight of her career thus far.

Martin is set to face former ONE world title challenger and top strawweight Jackie Buntan in a Muay Thai contest at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs Moraes III on Prime Video.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Diandra Martin expressed her desire to put on a good show for the American fans who will be in attendance. She said:

“It’s awesome [to compete at this event]. I’m so stoked. As an athlete, I have gotten more noticed worldwide with my fights against Smilla and Amber Kitchen. Taking on big names, never saying no to anyone, and being recognized in the sport for what I can do is really great.

“And now I can go to America and show people what I can do. How many people get to say that they get to travel the world for their sport? I’m living a dream that I never thought I would.”

Martin has one win and one loss in ONE Championship, with her most recent fight being a victory over the highly touted Amber Kitchen. If she can defeat Jackie Buntan, it will no doubt become the biggest scalp on her record.

Martin says she has a few new surprises planned. She continued:

“You’re going to see a new Diandra; you’re not going to see the same old things. So just get excited and have your popcorn ready. It’s going to be a good show.”

ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs Moraes III on Prime Video is ONE Championship’s historic first-ever live on-ground show to be held in the United States.

The event goes down at the 1stBank Center in Colorado on Friday, May 5. As always, all ONE Fight Night events are broadcast for free to fans in the United States and Canada with an active Amazon Prime subscription.
