The latest in the saga of kickboxer-turned-media influencer Andrew Tate involves an Indian actress by the name of Karishma Sharma. Back in 2014, Sharma ran into 'Cobra' at a party in Mumbai, India.

According to Tate – who is currently in jail on charges of sexual assault and human trafficking – he and the Indian actress dated for a brief period before he called it off with her. A video of 'Cobra' is doing the rounds on social media where he claims to have 'hooked up' with Karishma Sharma.

Sharma vehemently denied the rumors, according to an article by the Hindustan Times. The film star said in response to the viral claim:

"He is lying. We never hooked up. I just wanted to come out and share my side, so that people know that he is a scumbag spreading lies and just wants attention. I was really happy when he was arrested. I happened to meet him at a party at a hotel in Mumbai. When you see a good looking person, you talk to that person - and I got along with him. We had a normal conversation. He told me he has an Indian mother, and we had a few shots. That’s all that happened."

Sharma then said that she proceeded to block Andrew Tate on Instagram after receiving inappropriate messages from him. The Bollywood actress admitted feelings of hurt at being questioned by her friends over the alleged 'hook up':

"I have so many messages just saying ‘Oh Andrew Tate,’ and I have nothing to do with this guy. Even my friends questioned me and that hurt [even] more. There are people who are very snarky about it, like 'Oh you are dating Andrew Tate,’ and it kind of hurts. It pinches you when your own people ask you. My heart just sank when my friend sent me that video."

I said, 'I just slept with Karishma and this must be her standard tactic with Indian guys.'"

Tate then claimed how Sharma kept texting him on Instagram despite him ignoring her. The social media influencer said that she had a "full-on mental breakdown" when he "refused to play her game."
