Controversial internet personality Andrew Tate has played down rumors that he was attacked in jail after tweeting that he was approached by three prisoners looking for a fight.
Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Romania back in December 2022. The pair were picked up in a police probe and have been accused of rape, human trafficking and conspiring to form a criminal group. The brothers have been held under incarceration since their arrest but have yet to be formally charged for their alleged crimes.
Whilst 'Cobra' is being confined to a jail cell, his Twitter account regularly posts motivational messages as well as updates from his time on the inside. Recently, Andrew Tate's Twitter post went viral after sharing that he was approached by three prisoners who wanted to harm him.

The 36-year-old claimed he avoided the confrontation by clicking his fingers and suggesting 'Yoga Fire', a term from the popular fighting game Street Fighter.
"At laundry today, 3 mortals attempted to intimidate me. Unaware of my divine powers, I extended my hand and clicked my fingers and then asked them a simple question. Do you know the secrets of Yoga fire? They are not sure why this changed their minds, but it did."
Andrew Tate allegedly in more trouble after discussing "bribes to Romanian officials"
Since being arrested, Andrew Tate has been pushing for his release from prison. The controversial internet personality has regularly maintained his innocence and believes there is zero evidence of his alleged crimes.
Now, however, new information has reportedly come to light which could add further fuel to the fire for the former athlete. 'Cobra' was allegedly caught trying to negotiate bribes with Romanian officials whilst using a phone in prison.
Moe Gangat, a lawyer who has worked with the NBA and NFL Players' Association, recently discussed the situation on his TikTok account. According to Gangat, there are 'credible' reports of Tate's alleged actions:
"We've got credible reports of Andrew Tate doing some really dumb things. He's in a Romanian prison, locked up, waiting for his trial. [Just] like in the United States, they let you make calls and monitor your calls. Anything you say can and will be used against you.
"Firstly, here's only a list of people who he is allowed to call and the reports are that he called people on the approved list and then patched in other third parties. That can be its own crime, and it's certainly not going to help him attempt to get out on bond. Big trouble if you ask me. They are [also] saying that he's on jail calls discussing with another individual bribing two Romanian public officials."
