Diego Pacheco vs. Maciej Sulecki: Live round-by-round updates

Diego Pacheco vs. Maciej Sulecki will go down later tonight at Dignity Health Sports Park in California with Pacheco's USWBC and WBO international super middleweight titles on the line.

Undefeated in his career, Pacheco (21-0) is the WBO's No.1-ranked super-middleweight contender. Since pugilistic legend, Canelo Alvarez currently holds the WBO title, a dominant win this weekend is a non-negotiable for the 23-year-old if he is to have any chance at getting on the Mexican's radar.

In the other half of the contest, Sulecki (32-2) is currently on a four-fight win streak. He is a former WBO middleweight title challenger and currently sits on the No.14 spot on the licensing body's super-middleweight rankings.

A win this weekend will help him steal his undefeated opponent's thunder and greatly elevate his position in the division.

According to DAZN, Pacheco is a -1400 favorite over Sulecki (+700) underdog for the match-up.

Round 1

Sulecki is trying to close distance with his opponent but a rangier Pacheco is keeping his opponent at bay with long jabs. The fighters seem to be using the round to get a read on their opponent.

Pacheco connects with multiple jabs to his opponent's head, he is clearly controlling the pace of the fight. Sulecki returns fire with a body shot. Another left hand to the body lands for the challenger.

Sulecki is committing to body shots but Pacheco is attempting to headhunt, albeit with not much success.
