Polarizing internet personality Andrew Tate provided updates on his recent arrest and subsequent release in light of new human trafficking allegations in Romania. Tate, together with his brother Tristan and a few other associates, were ultimately put on house arrest for 30 days after the judge denied the prosecutor's request to have them remanded.
In his X account, Tate tweeted what DIICOT, Romania's anti-organized crime unit, argued as evidence that he and his company are earning through illegal means:
"🚨🇷🇴DIICOT prosecutors state in court that Andrew Tate and Tristan had no legitimate income during the time the crimes were committed, they state the money was obtained through crimes 😳"
Tate also quoted DICCOT's statement:

"The defendants claimed that the seized assets and money were legitimate; however, checks conducted with the National Trade Register Office [ONRC] revealed that the defendants' companies in Romania did not report any profits, and the defendants were unable to provide documented evidence that they engaged in lawful profit-generating activities."

Outside the courthouse after their house arrest ruling, Tristan and Andrew Tate faced the media, with the latter fuming with frustration. 'Cobra' Tate went on a lengthy rant which included these scathing words:
"I've been nice. I've been patient. I've played the game. I've respected the judiciary. I've gone to every appointment on time. But they busted my house again. And now come along saying there's thiry-five victims. You know, thirty of those girls have statements in our defense? 30 saying we've done absolutely nothing wrong. Two more are the mothers of our children. And two more have never even been to Romania...This is a set-up. It's absolutely disgusting."
