Dillon Danis has challenged boxing legend Tyson Fury to an MMA fight. Danis claimed that he's willing to put $20 million on the line against Fury's $20 million, adding that he'll give him all the money if he can survive even one MMA round against him.

Dillon Danis' claims come amid the ongoing war of words between Tyson Fury and UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones. 'The Gyspy King' and Jones have lately been at loggerheads, with both claiming that they can defeat the other.

Dillon Danis, who's at a significant size disadvantage against these heavyweights, has now offered to fight Fury. On that note, the MMA community has chimed in with hilarious reactions.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Danis wrote:

"i’ll put up 20 million vs your 20 million - 1 mma round if you survive 5 mins you keep all the money @Tyson_Fury"

One fan responded to Danis' tweet by suggesting that he was probably under the influence while challenging Fury:

"Dillon, what are you smoking?"

Additionally, another fan opined that Danis is broke and can't afford to put up any money against Fury:

"You're broke though. Everybody point and laugh!"

Similarly, this fan took a jibe at Dillon Danis' financial status and tweeted:

"You don’t have $500 son."

One Twitter user alluded to the fact that in recent years, Dillon Danis has challenged several fighters across multiple combat sports but hasn't fought them. The user advised Danis to simply compete and wrote:

"This is getting embarrassing. You'd gain more by fighting and losing then this........."

Another Twitter user drew parallels between Danis and a mannequin:

"Can't talk sense into a walking mannequin homie"

Moreover, a fan opined that Danis is one of the few MMA fighters that Fury could defeat:

"Oh gosh, you're one of the few "mma" fighters he could beat."

Another fan referenced Danis' alleged cryptocurrency promotion scam and tweeted:

"Crypto scamming money"

A fan notably tweeted a couple of images, showing Danis getting punched by MMA fighter/boxer Anthony Taylor in a street altercation and 'El Jefe' getting choked out by a chocolatier/security guard:

"Yo D**do Danis this you yeah?"

Retired MMA fighter Ramsey Nijem brought up Danis' long-running feud with former UFC star Jake Shields. Jibing at 'El Jefe,' Nijem wrote:

"Now now Dillion that’s a little more than @jakeshieldsajj allowance to you"

Jake Shields responded to Nijem's tweet and took a jab at Danis. Mocking 'El Jefe,' Shields wrote:

"He's not good with math and has $20 confused with 20 million"

Could a Dillon Danis vs. Tyson Fury fight materialize down the line?

A BJJ savant, Dillon Danis (2-0 MMA) last competed in the submission grappling realm in 2017. His last MMA bout took place back in 2019. Danis battled knee injury issues in the ensuing years. Besides, his professional boxing debut scheduled for January 2023 also fell apart. Danis is rumored to return to submission grappling under the Polaris banner this year.

Meanwhile, WBC heavyweight champion boxer Tyson Fury has been expected to fight unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title this year. Regardless, 'The Gypsy King' has hinted that he could instead face Andy Ruiz Jr. or Zhilei Zhang, possibly in July.

Furthermore, the consensus is that the boxing megastar is unlikely to cross over to the sport of MMA to fight Jon Jones or any of his other MMA rivals. Considering the aforementioned variables at play, it'd be safe to say that a potential Danis-Fury matchup appears unlikely to materialize anytime soon.
