Dillon Danis recently questioned Ariel Helwani about the MMA journalist baskstabbing Dana White by leaking sensitive information in 2016.
In a recent interview with Helwani on The MMA Hour, Danis brought up the subject of the MMA journalist's withered relationship with White due to his actions at UFC 199, much to Helwani's chagrin.
'El Jefe' tweeted a video of him confronting Helwani about the same during the interview, where he can be heard asking:
"It's f****d up what you did to Dana. He took you under his wing. He made you popular, he did all the stuff. That's how I knew who you were... He did everything for you... And the Brock Lesnar thing was f****d up, for the company why'd you spoil it?... Why did you f**k him over when he had your back."

Dillon Danis was referring to the incident when Helwani prematurely reported on the news of Brock Lesnar making a comeback at UFC 200. He was at the UFC 199 event, spoiling the UFC's plans to surprise the fans.
The prominent MMA journalist was subsequently physically escorted out of the premises and handed a lifetime ban from all UFC events. While the ban was soon lifted, it seems White and Helwani are still on bad terms.

Dillon Danis initially gained notoriety as McGregor's grappling coach and training partner. He was also involved in the infamous altercation between team Khabib Nurmagomedov and team Conor McGregor in the aftermath of UFC 229.
Since then, however, it seems the 29-year-old Bellator fighter no longer trains with the Irishman. Danis has been inactive since 2019, owing to a nasty knee injury and subsequent failed surgery.
