Dillon Danis' recent social media post has caused quite a stir on social media. 'El Jefe' recently uploaded a post on X where he spoke about the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.
Danis questioned the logic behind a sport such as boxing. As per the 31-year-old, an elite MMA fighter like Demetrious Johnson could easily get the better of Usyk or Fury in a street fight.
"In reality, what's the point of boxing when Demetrious Johnson could take down Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk and strangle them in under a minute in a real fight?"

Danis' post caught the attention of several combat sports fans, who shared their thoughts in the comments section.
One individual simply labelled Danis' comment as:
"Rage bait."
Another person defended boxing by arguing that it was still considered an 'art'.
"Boxing is still an art though."
One user brought up the example of NASCAR and F1 racing in order to argue against Danis.
"What's the point of NASCAR when any F1 car could lap them 100s of times. it's about a level playing field, a set of rules an competition in combat to see who can win. Why compete in archery when firearms are clearly superior in lethality?"
