Dillon Danis riles up fans with hint at imminent UFC signing in now-deleted cryptic tweet

Dillon Danis, who is coming off a loss to Logan Paul in a boxing match, may have revealed that he is going to the UFC.

In a now-deleted tweet, Danis screenshotted the title of a video by YouTuber Jesse on Fire. The video was titled "Dillon Danis SIGNED BY UFC?? OFFICIAL Announcement Imminent?" The top rated comment, which was screenshotted by Danis as well, read:

"Dillon was responsible for at least 1.29 million of those PPVs."

While it's unclear if there is any truth to the matter, Danis is riding what is arguably the biggest wave of stardom in his career. In the promotions for the fight with 'The Maverick', Danis relentlessly assaulted both Paul and his fiancee, Nina Agdal.

This generated a tremendous amount of traction on social media, and the numbers speak to their success. The KSI vs. Fury card has, according to reports, sold more than 1.3 million PPVs. Danis vs. Paul, which was the co-main event on the same card, can be credited for a lot of that.

Now, Danis appears to be trying to leverage his fame into a deal with the UFC. Danis was previously contracted to Bellator, and fought his way to a 2-0 record. His last appearance in an MMA cage was all the way back in June of 2019.

Dillon Danis continues to hint at UFC deal, calls out Islam Makhachev

Dillon Danis, despite the embarrassing fashion in which his bout with Logan Paul ended, has not refrained from calling out the biggest names in MMA, irrespective of weight class.

'El Jefe' took to X (formerly Twitter) to callout Islam Makhachev, who is fresh off a stunning first round knockout over Alexander Volkanovski. Danis, who has some history with Khabib Nurmagomedov, also lashed out at 'the Eagle.'

In a series of tweets, Danis said:

"Islam and Khabib lost their virginty to the same goat."

Then, alongside a picture of himself and Islam Makhachev, he added:

"Unfinished Business. Mark my words, I'll play with this inbred."

Finally, Danis tagged UFC boss Dana White and said:

"We about to make a lot of money @danawhite"

While it's unclear if Danis is trolling or is serious. Regardless, the UFC may very well offer him a deal given his time in the limelight.
