Dillon Danis recently gave his take on the new main event of UFC 311 between Renato Moicano and Islam Makhachev. Danis also fired a shot at Khabib Nurmagomedov while expressing his opinion.
Nurmagomedov recently mentioned how the night of UFC 311 would be a stressful one for him. Three fighters from Team Khabib are scheduled to fight on the card, which begins just a few hours from now.
However, Arman Tsarukyan's eleventh-hour pullout from the main event against Makhachev yesterday presented an all-new challenge for Nurmagomedov. 'The Eagle' implied that taking Moicano lightly can turn out to be a huge mistake in a recent Instagram video on the UFC's official account.
But a recent X update from Danis showcased that he wasn't impressed by the revamped main event of UFC 311 between Makhachev and Moicano. 'El Jefe' also drew a comparison between this fight and UFC 223 featuring a Nurmagomedov vs. Al Iaquinta main event in terms of their lackluster nature.

Danis opined that the UFC 311 main event would trump Nurmagomedov's showdown in this regard. He penned:
"This may be worse than Khabib fighting the real estate agent for the belt 😂 #UFC311"
Arman Tsarukyan labels Khabib Nurmagomedov's ground game better than Islam Makhachev
Both Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev have used their phenomenal ground game to get the better of their rivals multiple times. Several noteworthy personalities from the MMA world have also appreciated their ground game.
But Makhachev's replaced UFC 311 rival, Arman Tsarukyan, recently opined that Nurmagomedov's wrestling and ground-and-pound pedigree is a level above the 34-year-old. In a recent TNT Sports interview, Tsarukyan said:
"Islam is a new version of Khabib. He's more well-rounded than Khabib but Khabib has better wrestling. His ground and pound way better. On the ground, Khabib [is] one of the best."
