Dillon Danis will take on British YouTuber KSI to finally settle their differences inside the boxing ring on a DAZN pay-per-view on January 14, 2023.
Danis, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace, will face a unique test as competes in his first boxing match. On the flip side, KSI has a solid pugilistic background with three pro fights under his belt.
Despite the difference in experience, Danis – who's best known as Conor McGregor's former teammate – is confident that he'll hand KSI an embarrassing loss. Taking to Twitter, Danis proclaimed his intentions, writing:
"Me vs @KSI will be the worst beating England has taken since 1776."

Danis, of course, was referencing the American Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress, which took place on July 4, 1776. The historic event saw the American Revolutionaries triumph against the British Empire.
In a previous tweet, Danis also specified how he sees his fight with KSI ending. According to the 29-year-old New Jersey native, "I will KO KSI stone dead, mark my words."

Jake Paul reacts to Dillon Danis vs. KSI confrontation
Jake Paul thinks Dillon Danis is trying to put on a show to generate interest for his upcoming fight with KSI.
During the weigh-in event for the Misfits Boxing x DAZN Series 3 event in Texas, Danis got face-to-face with KSI before a shoving match took place. The pair of competitors were then separated and the Bellator fighter was escorted out of the venue.
Shortly thereafter, a video featuring Anthony Taylor going after Danis made the rounds on social media. The confrontation got so heated that Taylor threw some punches at Danis. However, 'The Problem Child' thinks it's all smoke and mirrors.
"Nothing worse than a staged run in with coffee being thrown and then you go outside and get your ass whooped by some real ones."

KSI has become a prominent name in the world of influencer boxing. He has boxed fellow YouTube superstar Logan Paul twice and recently starred in a London event, where he KO'd two opponents in one night.
Danis, on the other hand, is a standout jiu-jitsu competitor before making the move to MMA in 2018. He went 2-0 in the Bellator cage but hasn't been in action since 2019.
