“Dis car is number one bulls**t” – MMA X explodes over old footage of Khabib Nurmagomedov 'holding on for dear life' drifting around Sokol race track

An old video of Khabib Nurmagomedov has left fans in splits. The former UFC champ is seen drifting in a race car with Kazakh professional drift driver Anton Avdeyev.

A video posted by MrTestoestrogen on X shows Nurmagomedov grabbing the handle while shaking his head with a smile as Avdeyev drifts the car.

"Khabib going drifting."

The visuals evoked hilarious reactions in the comments:

Khabib Nurmagomedov expresses his reservations against a potential Islam Makhachev and Belal Muhammad bout

Islam Makhachev has expressed his wish to go up to the welterweight division for a second belt. The road to this achievement as of now is, however, blocked by Belal Muhammad, the reigning champion of the division.

Sharing his thoughts on the possible clash between Makhachev and Muhammad on Pound for Pound, Khabib Nurmagomedov said:

"My heart not okay...he is very close to me...But for me it is going to be very hard for me to prepare somebody to beat Belal."

He added:

"If you wanna beat Belal, you need to stop him. Without stoppage, it's gonna be very hard. What you gonna do...if you take him down, it's very hard to control him in 25 minutes."

Both Islam Makhachev and Belal Muhammad share a very close bond with 'The Eagle.' While 'Remember The Name' considers Nurmagomedov his brother, Makhachev is a product of his father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. The reigning lightweight champ was mentored by the late MMA coach whereas Khabib serves as his trainer.

Often cornered by Khabib, Islam Makhachev won the lightweight title in 2022 by beating Charles Oliveira. He dedicated his championship win to his late coach and Nurmagomedov's father, Abdulmanap.
