29-year-old Canadian jiu-jitsu star and former IBJJF no-gi world champion Dante Leon believes he is currently his strongest as a lightweight, and as tempting as it may be, the Pedigo Submission Fighting star says he won't try to emulate one of his biggest combat sports heroes.
Leon has been an avid fan of boxing for his entire life, particularly the career of eight-division world champion 'Pacman' Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao became famous for his ability to move across eight different weight classes and win world titles. That's something that Leon finds admirable but not something that he could necessarily emulate in ONE Championship.

He told the media at the ONE Fight Night 27 post-fight interviews:
"I know I've proven myself to be a guy who kind of can go all around and do the Manny Pacquiao kind of thing, but it's not really how I want to define myself here at ONE."
Leon was last seen taking home a unanimous decision victory over Norway's Tommy Langaker.
ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abullaev on Prime Video was broadcast live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, last Saturday, January 11. Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action via replay on-demand with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Dante Leon tells fans not to bet against him just yet against Kade Ruotolo: "I have a chance of beating Kade"
Dante Leon believes he has more than a good chance at unseating ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo should the two meet in ONE Championship soon.
He told the fans and the media:
"Do I have a chance of beating Kade? Yeah, for sure. I have a chance of beating Kade. In the public eye and for the fans of ONE. I'm sure I'll be an underdog, but in my opinion, and to those who know, I think I'm far from an underdog and be their match with either of the brothers."
