A woman who took legal action against Conor McGregor for alleged sexual assault recently had a doctor testify on her behalf in front of an Irish High Court as the case progresses. The doctor noted that the alleged victim had several injuries on her body when he used a sexual assault examination kit to collect DNA samples.
Dr. Daniel Kane, who's a gynecologist, was working in the accident and emergency unit of Rotunda Hospital when the victim, Nikita Hand, was brought in via an ambulance on Dec.9, 2018. She was immediately taken to the sexual assault treatment unit for a forensic exam.
The Irish Mirror reported that Dr. Kane found multiple injuries on Hand's body, including scrapes on her right jawline and neck, bruises on her arms, fingers, and knuckles, bruises on her hips, and an abrasion on her right breast. He noted that her left hip bruise had turned purple with marks consistent with handprints. Hand also had several visible injuries on her legs and kneecaps.

The former two-division UFC champion has reportedly denied the allegations, and his lawyers told an earlier hearing in the case that the alleged victim is attempting to extort their client.
Nikita Hand accuses Conor McGregor of having "choked" her during alleged sexual assault
The woman who has taken Conor McGregor to court, Nikita Hand, recently shared his story in front of a judge and jury. The former hair colorist accused McGregor of raping her in the penthouse suite of the Beacon Hotel in December 2018.
Testifying before the Irish High Court, Hand recalled the night she linked up with the UFC star on a night out and outlined the harrowing ordeal that followed. Accusing him of choking her, she said:
"I just remember him behind me, and I think I was sitting on the bed. He put his arm around my neck and choked me three times. I just froze, and I couldn’t move, and I couldn’t breathe. I looked at the bedpost and was thinking about my daughter. I kept thinking I was going to die, and I was never going to see my daughter again." [H/t: Irish Mirror]
