Dominick Reyes will meet Ryan Spann in the prelims of UFC 281 on November 12.

'The Devastator' will make his 10th appearance in the promotion against Spann. Ryan 'Superman' Spann will be making his ninth appearance in the promotion at UFC 281.

Dominick Reyes is currently the No. 7-ranked fighter in the UFC light heavyweight division, while Ryan Spann is five spots below him at No. 12. Reyes is coming into the bout on a three-fight losing streak whereas Spann is coming off a win over Ion Cutelaba at UFC Vegas 54.

Dominick Reyes stands at 6'4" (193 cm) and has a reach of 77 inches. His last weigh-in was at 205.5 pounds against current champ Jiří Procházka at UFC Vegas 25. He lost the fight via knockout due to a spinning back elbow in the second round.

'The Devastator' made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 112 against Joachim Christensen. He finished Christensen via punches in the first round. He was undefeated in his MMA career until meeting Jon Jones for a title bout at UFC 247. He has since lost two more bouts with a UFC record of 6-3 and an overall MMA record of 12-3.

Ryan Spann stands an inch taller than Reyes at 6'5" (196 cm) and has a reach of 81.5 inches. He currently has one of the longest reaches in the UFC. He last weighed in at 206 pounds against Ion Cutelaba at UFC Vegas 54, where he won the fight via submission due to a guillotine choke in the first round.

'Superman' won a UFC contract after competing in Dana White's Contender Series 10, submitting Emiliano Sordi via guillotine choke. This was his second stint in the contender series. He made his UFC debut against Luis Henrique at UFC Fight Night 137 where he fought to a unanimous decision victory.

Ryan Spann has a UFC record of 6-2 and an overall MMA record of 20-7.

Ryan Spann has had more professional fights in his career than Dominick Reyes. With 12 more fights under his belt, Spann has more experience coming into the bout with Reyes, even though the latter has had more UFC fights in his career.

Furthermore, 'Superman' is coming off a first-round finish of Ion Cutelaba at UFC Vegas 54. 'The Devastator', on the other hand, is coming into the bout on a three-fight losing streak. He has been finished in two of his last three fights.

However, Dominick Reyes is the favorite going into the bout against Ryan Spann. OddsShark has Reyes as the -220 favorite against the +186 underdog Spann. Reyes also has experience fighting championship rounds in his bout with Jon Jones, a win that many argued should have gone to Reyes.
