'Angry' Mikey Musumeci is taking social media by storm after calling out all of his doubters in epic fashion at ONE 167.
The flyweight submission grappling kingpin finally had the chance to get something off his chest in the aftermath of his incredible rivalry with submission specialist Gabriel Sousa.
Suffice it to say, it wasn't cordial at all. No one has seen Musumeci get this emotional about winning a match since - well - forever. All the doubters who said that he couldn't beat Sousa at catchweight got a serious verbal beating on June 7.
Speaking after the win, Musumeci said:

"Everyone talking crap, 'Oh you couldn't beat him. There's no way. He's a division heavier than you.' I just submitted him easy as ****!"
In light of Musumeci's anticipated return to action at ONE 168: Denver, ONE Championship went to Musumeci's defense with the caption on Instagram that read:
"Don't understimate "Darth Rigatoni." Will Mikey Musumeci add another divisional crown to his collection when he challenges Kade Ruotolo for the ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Title at ONE 168: Denver?"

"All respect on our end for sure" - Kade Ruotolo doesn't expect to see 'Angry' Mikey Musumeci come above surface at ONE 168
According to the defending lightweight submission king Kade Ruotolo, there's a higher chance of seeing a 'nice' version of Mikey Musumeci on Sept. 6 in Denver.
The two superstars have always shown the greatest respect for each other whenever they've run into each other before events. So, Kade assumes, that the fans won't see 'angry' Mikey Musumeci rise to the surface again on the global stage - at least with him.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA, Kade said:
"I guarantee that more or less, you know [that Musumeci will tone it down]. I think Sousa for sure, struck a nerve or something, but yeah, it's pretty much all respect on our end for sure."
