UFC color commentator Joe Rogan recently touched upon the 2024 United States presidential election and claimed that only independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s vision "makes sense" to him. This statement didn't go down well with former president Donald Trump, who lashed out at Rogan on his Truth Social platform.
Rogan's approval of Kennedy Jr.'s vision is rooted in his belief that the 70-year-old "attacks actions and ideas." He also labeled him a much "more reasonable and intelligent" candidate. That being said, Rogan clarified his statement later on X, stating:
"For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world. I also think Trump raising his fist and saying “fight!” after getting shot is one of the most American fuc*ing things of all time."

However, Trump expressed dismay at Rogan after he seemingly expressed favor for Kennedy Jr. He wrote:
"It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024"
Rogan, who was part of the comedy show 'Kill Tony: Live from Madison Square Garden', took to Instagram to post a picture with comedian Sean Gillis, who portrayed Trump. The UFC color commentator wrote:
"Ran into Trump. Everything is cool."

Joe Rogan talks about Donald Trump assassination attempt
Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt on July 13, 2024, while speaking at an open-air campaign rally near Butler, Pennsylvania. While Trump was struck in the ear by the bullet, he managed to avoid getting seriously injured.
Joe Rogan reacted to the incident in an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with comedian Chad Daniels. He said:
"If there's ever been a real indication that we're in a simulation, it's this season of USA. It's the craziest season that's ever existed. So many twists and turns, so many plots, so many villains, so many incompetent bumbling fools."
He added:
"Whether you hate Trump or not... don't you think it's weird that they're all in lock step with the way they talk about him? Even with things that aren't true, like the Russia collusion hoax."

In the past, Rogan has expressed his reluctance to get Trump on his podcast, asserting that he doesn't want to help anyone in the presidential race. He also labeled the recent shooting incident involving Trump as an organized assassination attempt.
