Donald Trump's latest conversation with Elon Musk could see Joe Rogan in the White House, says the President-elect's son

It appears Joe Rogan may become a regular attendee at White House press conferences if Donald Trump's latest plan comes to fruition. The President-elect's son recently revealed discussing replacing legacy media outlets with independent journalists and podcasters in the White House Briefing Room with his father and Elon Musk.

During an interview with Daily Wire host Michael Knowles, Donald Trump Jr. was asked about the mainstream media's alleged bias and the possibility of moving away from having them at official press briefings. Trump's son replied:

"I’d love to see Rogan in the White House press briefing or even rotate guys out... We had a conversation about opening up the press room to a lot of these independent journalists. If the New York Times has lied, they’ve been averse to everything; they’re functioning as the marketing arm of the Democrat Party, why not open it up to people who have larger viewerships, stronger followings?” [H/t: Daily Wire]

Rogan notably hosted Trump on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast ahead of the 2024 U.S. elections despite avoiding an interview with the former POTUS several times. He later endorsed Trump for president and lauded Musk for his contribution to saving free speech.

Joe Rogan recently slammed Joe Biden for escalating the Russia-Ukraine conflict and expressed his dismay at the POTUS authorizing the use of long-range American missiles against Russian territories. Rogan believed Biden's plans could trigger a large-scale war, potentially a third World War, given the socio-political radioactivity of the region.

While some shared Rogan's worries, Ukrainian boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko recently slammed the famous podcaster for buying into Russian propaganda and Vladimir Putin's narratives. In a video uploaded to social media, he said:

"Joe Rogan, I listened to your latest podcast. I am sending you this video to let you know that I disagree... You’re repeating Russian propaganda—Putin’s Russia is in trouble. So they want to scare you and people like you. His war was supposed to last 3 days, it has lasted 3 years thanks to the heroism and sacrifice of us Ukrainians. So you are using the only weapon that Putin really intends to use: propaganda."

He continued:

"This weapon really weakens our democracies. Putin’s Russia wants to destroy Ukraine quietly, they want America to stay quiet. Not great, but quiet. A great America is not an America that abandons countries that defend freedom with their lives. In short, you see, I have quite a few points of difference. If you invite me on your podcast, we could discuss them. Like free men."
