Donald Trump recently welcomed Kamaru Usman's endorsement for the 2024 US presidential race, which ends today. The former United States President has been active on the campaign trail in hopes of winning his second term in the White House after losing in 2020.
The former President has received endorsements from many in the MMA community including Dana White and most recently Joe Rogan. His appearance on JRE appeared to have a very positive response, especially among voters who were undecided on who to cast their vote for. Many fighters have voiced their support and even spoke at Trump's rallies.
'The Nigerian Nightmare' was the latest fighter to make his endorsement public on his X account. He noted that he wants a leader who will make America a country one which he wants to raise his family in. The endorsement caught the attention of Trump, who reposted it to his profile and expressed his gratitude for the former welterweight champion's kind words:
"A great honor, from a great fighter. Thank you!"

Kamaru Usman explains reasoning for endorsement of Donald Trump?
There have been many Americans who have endorsed Donald Trump that typically lean toward the Republican party that he represents. However, it wasn't the case with Kamaru Usman as he explained his reasoning for endorsing the former President.
Usman posted a photo to his X account and disclosed that he had been a supporter of the Democrats, but the current election has resulted in him changing his views. The former UFC welterweight champion mentioned that he believes Trump is the better candidate for his country, his family and is backing him for a second term in office:
"Growing up Democrat and starting to understand the state of politics over the last few decades, I know how I want to live and how I want to raise my family @realDonaldTrump"
