Drew Dober was reintroduced into the UFC lightweight rankings this week after an impressive knockout win against Bobby Green at UFC Vegas 66.

The Nebraska native now occupies the division's No.14 spot, previously held by Tony Ferguson. Following his addition to the top 15, Dober proceeded to call out the last man to defeat 'El Cucuy', explosive contender Michael Chandler.

Interestingly, many fans had already begun a debate over who would win a potential matchup between the pair following Dober's recent victory.

It is unclear whether or not the veteran lightweight was aware of fans' interest in the fight, but he took to Twitter on Tuesday to call out Chandler with a couple of images.

Drew Dober is known to be one of the most likable fighters in the sport of MMA, and avoids engaging in trash talk or any sort of confrontational behavior. Bobby Green even described Dober as the 'nicest opponent he's ever fought' after their fight last weekend.

The Nebraska native called out No.10-ranked UFC lightweight Jalin Turner in the cage at UFC Vegas 66, describing him as a 'six-foot-three monster'. But it seems that Dober has now set his sights on a much shorter, but equally dangerous, opponent in Michael Chandler.

Drew Dober was "surprised" by the ending of his fight with Bobby Green

Drew Dober was able to knock Bobby Green out cold at during the UFC's last fight card of the year.

Dober handed 'King' his first true knockout loss since Dustin Poirier finished him at UFC 199. Green has faced many powerful strikers since his duel with 'The Diamond' in 2016, including Rafael Fiziev. But the 'King' has been able to use his slick boxing skills to evade the majority of their power.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Dober admitted that his KO victory over Green surprised him. He alluded to the durability as well as the technical prowess that 'King' possesses, saying:

"For the fight to finish the way it did is surprising. It's kind of surreal. I've looked up to Bobby Green and I know how talented he is, he's definitely hard to hit and definitely even harder to knock out. So I'm very happy with that win... The trash talk and the way he moves his head, he is definitely a unique specimen to deal with."
