Drew Dober extended his undefeated streak to three with a knockout victory over Bobby Green on the main card of UFC Vegas 66. With this victory, the 38-fight seasoned combatant tied Dustin Poirier for a significant UFC record.

Going into the fight, Dober expected tough competition from Green and wanted to rise to the occasion and put forth a memorable performance. He did just that by etching his name into the history books of the 155-pound division, tying former interim champion Dustin Poirier for the most knockouts in UFC lightweight history.

Drew Dober now has eight knockout victories, a milestone previously only accomplished by Dustin Poirier.

The path to victory did not come easy for Dober since Bobby Green had great success in the stand-up. 'King' peppered Dober with crisp combinations from his usual low-handed stance as he circled around his rival. By the end of the first round, Green had established himself as the superior fighter thanks to his ability to avoid Dober's attacks while still landing solid blows.

The 34-year-old fought more aggressively in the second round. He walked through Green's blows in search of an opening. At the 2:20 mark, Dober finally landed the knockout blow, flooring Green with a massive left hook and solid follow-up blows.

Drew Dober calls out Jalin Turner following his impressive KO victory over Bobby Green

Drew Dober scored an impressive second-round knockout victory over Bobby Green at UFC Vegas 66.

Dober struggled to find an opening for the majority of the fight. Moreover, Green's constant jeering made it much more challenging to regain his composure. However, Dober managed to corral Green against the fence with pressure and landed one seminal blow that swung the fight in his favor.

Following the victory, Dober grabbed the opportunity to call out surging contender Jalin Turner for a potential fight in the future:

"I think there's a guy in the top-10 right now.... His name is Jalin Turner. Six feet three inches monster. I would love those problems. So please say yes."

No.10-ranked lightweight contender in the world, Jalin Turner, is riding an impressive five-fight win streak in the UFC, all of which have come by means of a finish.

Turner seemingly responded to the call out with a GIF that he posted on Twitter.
