Dricus du Plessis, Jorge Masvidal, and others react to incredible Daniel Zellhuber vs. Esteban Ribovics scrap at Noche UFC

The Daniel Zellhuber vs. Esteban Ribovics fight has garnered attention from reigning middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis, former BMF champion Jorge Masvidal, and many others. The two squared off in a lightweight bout at Noche UFC 306. The pay-per-view event is currently taking place at the Las Vegas Sphere.

Zellhuber made his octagon debut at UFC Vegas 60 in a unanimous decision loss against Trey Ogden. The Mexican subsequently rebounded with a win against Lando Vannata at UFC on ESPN 44 and was on a three-fight win streak, with his most recent victory coming over Francisco Prado at UFC Fight Night 237.

Meanwhile, Ribovics is also a 'Dana White's Contender Series' alum, just like Zellhuber. Following an unsuccessful debut against Loik Radzhabov at UFC 285, the Argentinian got back into the win column with a unanimous decision win against Kamuela Kirk at UFC 290.

In his last octagon outing at UFC St. Louis, Ribovics secured a first-round knockout victory over Terrance McKinney.

In the first round of their fight, both Zellhuber and Ribovics had their moments. Zellhuber ended the round with a series of punches to the head and body.

In the second round, 'Golden Boy' got off to a stronger start, using his long range to hurt his opponent.

The third round finished on an explosive note, with Zellhuber and Ribovics throwing hands at one another to conclude the fight.

After three rounds of action, Ribovics got his hand raised via split decision.

Following the fight, Justin Gaethje took to X, writing that it made him feel like a child:

Du Plessis took to X and wrote:

''One of the best fights I’ve ever seen!''

Masvidal expressed his admiration for the two fighters, writing:
