Dricus du Plessis recently fired a shot at Themba Gorimbo, who's close to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and roasted the UFC star on social media. The UFC middleweight champion's one-line roast sent fight fans into a frenzy.
During a recent interview, Gorimbo opened up about his loss against Vicente Luque at UFC 310 and revealed that his cousins celebrated his defeat. He also spoke about the effect of such things on a person while outlining how difficult life was in his hometown. While many were sympathetic, it appears du Plessis wasn't touched by Gorimbo's story.
After a clip of the interview was shared by @Home_of_Fight on Instagram, 'Stillknocks' took to the comments section and addressed the UFC welterweight's family celebrating his loss. He wrote:
"Yeah, because anybody that knows you would."

When Themba Gorimbo opened up about being broke after opening free gym in South Africa
Themba Gorimbo once opened up about going broke after opening a gym in South Africa. Gorimbo revealed that he allows amateur fighters to train at his gym for free and, hence, doesn't have a steady income source.
During an interview with MMA Mania, the UFC welterweight also spoke about having to inject his own money into the project and said:
"I own a gym in South Africa. The reason I am probably broke is not because I don't use my money wisely. It's because this gym does not make me money. This gym is like for African kids that I let them come and train in my gym for free... Yes, I make money, but at the end of the day, I have a gym in South Africa that does not make me money. Everybody is just taking, taking, taking, I'm putting, putting, putting, you know?"
