Dricus du Plessis was less than convinced by former opponent Darren Till's advice to Israel Adesanya ahead of their middleweight title clash at UFC 305. Du Plessis will welcome the former champion back into the fold in the main event of the card in a highly anticipated clash this weekend.

Till, who most recently competed in a boxing match in the UAE, took to social media to share some words of wisdom with Adesanya. 'The Gorilla' faced the South African at UFC 282, where he suffered a submission defeat.

But Till had arguably the most success on the feet compared to any of Du Plessis' UFC opponents and shared a potential gameplan for 'The Last Stylebender' on X.

Ahead of UFC 305, 'Stillknocks' appeared in front of the media, where he was asked about Till's advice to Adesanya. The middleweight champion shared the following:

"The man got taken down by a boxer. Practice what you preach. The man couldn't stop a single takedown. The man said he won two rounds [of our fight]. He didn't win two rounds, he's crazy. I finished him, outstruck him, took him down and finished him in the third round... The man's in a downward spiral... In terms of how easy it would be to beat me, why didn't he do it?"

Dricus du Plessis' next fight will be in South Africa should he win at UFC 305, says Dana White

UFC CEO Dana White has long expressed his desire to bring the world's biggest MMA promotion to Africa. During the reign of the 'Three Kings,' when Israel Adesanya, Kamaru Usman, and Francis Ngannou all held UFC titles, White began discussing plans to bring the UFC to the Mother Continent.

According to the promotion's top executive, should Dricus du Plessis defeat Adesanya at UFC 305, his next bout will be in his home country, South Africa.

White appeared in front of the media ahead of this weekend's pay-per-view event in Perth, Australia, and said this:

"Everything is on the line, especially because they dislike each other so much. If he can beat Izzy and bring that belt back to South Africa, obviously we'll do an event there. If Izzy can regain the title, it's huge for him and his legacy."
