Dricus Du Plessis came up with a witty response to a fan's comment on one of his recent Instagram posts. Du Plessis' reply showcased his nonchalant attitude about the fan's concern.
Du Plessis was last seen in the octagon at UFC 305, where he earned a submission victory over the former middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya. His next fight is scheduled for UFC 312, which will be a rematch against Sean Strickland.
However, one of Du Plessis' recent Instagram posts showcased that he went fishing to enjoy his time and made a huge catch. 'Stillknocks' pulled a shark out of the waters and posted a couple of snaps with it to his Instagram.

The post garnered lots of comments from fans, including one that warned him of backlash from the "animal rights activist" community. The comment read:
"All the animal rights activists gonna hate you now"
Du Plessis' four-word reply showcased that he doesn't care much about the issue highlighted by the fan. He replied:
"Well, the feeling is mutual"

Lots of MMA fans including Dricus Du Plessis' rivals have derided him for his display of affection towards his coach. They mock the Pretoria native for kissing his coach during one of his fights.
A fan tried to scorn Du Plessis in the comments section of the aforementioned post by referencing this incident. He penned:
"Don’t kiss it [the shark] on the mouth"
But Du Plessis turned the fan's arrow of insult towards his preferred rival, Khamzat Chimaev, with another witty reply. He linked his response to the scar in the middle of Chimaev's upper lip and wrote:
"No way. That’s what Khamzat tried and look how that turned out."
