Andrew Tate was recently surrounded by cancer rumors as he remains in detention in Romania.

Tate's manager confirmed the rumors that first arose after the controversial kickboxer was taken out of custody for hospital visits in January. A subsequently leaked document from the King's College Hospital London–Dubai revealed a malignant growth in Tate's lungs that could potentially lead to cancer.

The report also included a letter from one Dr. Ali Razzak, seeking Tate's urgent repatriation to the UAE on medical grounds. The King's College Hospital has now condemned the leaking of the reports, firmly standing by their doctor.

The hospital described Dr. Razzak as a “dedicated and compassionate caregiver” who thought the best for his patients irrespective of their "background, race, gender or social standing." King's College Hospital told the Khaleej Times:

“We confirm that the letter, which details Mr Tate’s visits to our hospital in Dubai Hills, and the Medical Centre in Dubai Marina and Jumeirah, as well as the diagnostic tests he underwent, was issued by one of our family medicine practitioners, Dr. Ali Razzak, who is the medical director of King’s Dubai Marina Medical Centre.”

King's College Hospital London–Dubai confirmed that the leak did not happen from their end and said:

"strongly condemned the leakage of Mr. Tate’s medical letter which details private information of his health and well-being. We, without a doubt, uphold doctor-patient confidentiality to the highest standards.”

Andrew Tate, meanwhile, has denied all cancer rumors and claims that the scar in his lung is from an old battle.

Dr. Ali Razzak's letter seeking Andrew Tate's repatriation

Andrew Tate was arrested along with his brother Tristan in Romania in December 2022. Prior to his arrest, Tate reportedly underwent certain medical tests and examinations in Dubai that revealed a lesion in his lung.

As per the recently leaked reports, Tate underwent a CT scan on December 12 and was scheduled to undergo further investigations like a bronchoscopy and a PET CT scan that doctor Ali Razzak deemed urgent.

Requesting that the self-proclaimed misogynist be immediately repatriated to the UAE, Dr. Ali Razzak wrote in the since-leaked letter:

"It is my professional medical recommendation that Andrew is urgently repatriated to the United Arab Emirates to undergo these medical investigations without delay. Time is of the essence and any further delay in the above investigations may have a serious negative implication for Andrew's physical health. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further information."

Andrew Tate's lawyer Tina Glandian recently said that the brothers could be detained until June without any charges being filed against them.
