Jon Jones made his highly anticipated return to the octagon last month as he defeated Stipe Miocic via third-round TKO at UFC 309 to defend his heavyweight title for the first time. While he had hinted at retirement leading up to the bout, 'Bones' has since shared that he will likely continue his mixed martial arts career.
A report recently surfaced suggesting that the heavyweight champion has demanded $30 million to face Tom Aspinall. @realruebenking tweeted:

Many fans shared their reaction to the report. @ozzygeorge78 claimed that the financial request is a way to duck the matchup:
"Ducking without ducking, genius"
@Caleb_4xF believes Jones deserves the payday:
"Honestly, give it to him. He deserves it, it will draw a mega crowd, and he has done magnitudes for the sport."
@Bardo_Young noted that boxing champions are paid a similar amount:
"So he should. The GOAT of the UFC can't even make half of what the Champion gets paid in Boxing. Ref: Usyk."
@brosephblake suggested that Jones should get even more than $30 million, while also predicting he will win the bout:
"Should be that plus a percentage it’ll be the most watched fight in a long time. Everybody wants to see Jon get beat, but I think he upsets you all again."

Ciryl Gane shares who he believes poses a tougher test to Jon Jones between potential opponents
Ciryl Gane had the opportunity to welcome Jon Jones to the heavyweight division at UFC 285 last March, losing the bout via first-round submission.
'Bon Gamin' revealed whether he believes Tom Aspinall or Alex Pereira pose a bigger threat to the heavyweight champion during a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, stating:
"[Jones] proved it another time. He's so dangerous, he's capable of changing, he can do everything you want so even if you have a guy [who is] really good on his striking or the wrestling, he can manage this. So, maybe I'm going to say Tom because he's more well-rounded. When you have a guy like Alex Pereira, he's so dangerous on the striking so everything is possible. So, it's too hard to have a good answer."
Check out Ciryl Gane's comments on who has a better chance of beating Jon Jones below:
Jones has shared that he prefers to face Pereira in a superfight as he believes it would do more for his legacy. He has revealed, however, that he is open to facing Aspinall for the right price.
