ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion 'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks of the United States won't gain much from beating former foe 'Thunder Kid' Lito Adiwang again, but he wants to prove to his Filipino rival that he's the better man once and for all.
Adiwang has been making a lot of noise for another crack at Brooks, believing that he was unable to showcase what he could do against 'The Monkey God' in their initial encounter back at ONE: NextGen III more than three years ago.
But Brooks wants to prove to Adiwang that he's quite simply the better fighter.
Speaking to The MMA Superfan in a recent interview, Brooks says he is willing to give Adiwang a rematch, just so he can silence 'Thunder Kid' from all the callouts.

Brooks vows to beat Adiwang even better than before.
'The Monkey God' said:
"Give me another chance with Lito Adiwang. I'll show him what's up at the end of the day. He keeps on talking that stuff, and I'm just like, dude, you have no idea. Like, you better have a storm, like five storms coming through, because I'm used to it now. I'm used to the craziness."
Before a rematch with Adiwang can materialize, however, Brooks has much more important matters at hand.
