Judges Derek Cleary and Sal D'Amato scored the bout 48-47 in favor of Poirier, while judge Eric Colón gave 'The Diamond' a 48-46 score. On every scorecard, Dan Hooker won the first two rounds with a 10-9 score, while Dustin Poirier won the last three. The only discrepancy was Colón awarding Poirier a 10-8 for the fourth frame.

Both fighters will appear on the main card of UFC 281 this weekend. While Poirier takes on the No. 5-ranked Michael Chandler, Dan Hooker will face Claudio Puelles.
