Dana White is confident that Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall is imminent

Jon Jones has refused to fight Tom Aspinall, stressing that it's a high-risk fight that does not help him strengthen his legacy or place in the sport's history. After the UFC 309 win over Stipe Miocic in November, he reinforced his stance, showing interest in fighting fellow veteran fighter and 205-pound champion Alex Pereira.

During the UFC 309 post-fight press conference, Dana White stated that, regardless of his current position, Jones would eventually agree to fight Aspinall:

"It will be [the biggest heavyweight fight of all time]. I've got Tom [Aspinall] waiting for me outside right now and Jon... You let Jon do Jon. Jon is going to disappear. Not only will you not hear about him or what he's doing, neither will I. And then he'll resurface and they'll call and we'll get it done."

Jones, clearly frustrated by Aspinall's repeated callouts, expressed that he wants to be paid "f*** money" to fight a dangerous up-and-comer like the British interim champion.
