Anthony Joshua would welcome the chance to face fellow knockout artist Deontay Wilder, should the American win his fight against Zhilei Zhang on June 1. The pair will headline a stacked Queensbury vs. Matchroom 5 vs. 5 event taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, is currently in the Middle East for the event, with Wilder competing for Matchroom Boxing Promotions against Queensbury Promotions' Zhang.
With Joshua having won four fights since April 2023, the former world champion has refound his old form and has hopes of capitalizing on his renewed vigor.
There are rumors that 'AJ' will wait for the winner of the recently-confirmed rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk to take place, with the official date for the clash being released several days ago.

But according to Hearn, his client may not want to wait until next year to fight and would be open to facing 'The Bronze Bomber' in September - a fight that fans have called for since 2018.
The Matchroom Boxing chairman was recently interviewed by Boxing News, where he said this:
"For sure. When you look at it, the key for 'AJ' is to win the world heavyweight championship again. That could come from the winner of Dubois vs. Hergovich, but at the same time we know that if Wilder looks spectacular, the world is gonna be calling for that fight again. It's a fight that defintely appeals to Anthony Joshua, it will be down to his Excellency, in all honesty."

Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua "definitely" happens in 2025 says Bob Arum
Bob Arum is one of boxing's longest-standing and most legendary promoters, and he recently gave both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua fans some hope for a potential all-British clash in 2025.
Whilst Fury's recent loss to Oleksandr Usyk may have dampened the aura surrounding a clash between the pair of British heavyweights, the fight is without doubt one of the most exciting matchups across all divisions.
During a recent interview with talkSPORT, Arum shared his thoughts on a Fury-Joshua fight, saying this:
"Next year, definitely. Win or lose, that fight is something that has to happen because there's so much talk about it in the UK. There's so many opinions about it. I would be very surprised if that fight didn't happen in Wembley by mid-2025."
