Will Eduard Folayang retire?
Eduard Folayang is a decorated fighter who has fallen on hard times as he continues to age. The Filipino-born fighter has gone 2-7 in ONE Championship since losing his lightweight world title.
After his most recent loss, in the ONE on Prime Video 5 post-fight press conference, ONE CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong commented:
"I also think, Eduard, if he doesn't change his fighting style, I'll be a little concerned, given where he is in his career ... [Retirement is] really up to Eduard. I need to talk with Mark [Sangiao] and Eduard. It's too early for me to say.”

"It’s always wrong to underestimate legends because of their age. Legends are like fine wine. They may be old, but they can still take you out... I always think of them in their most dangerous form... It’s always dangerous to underestimate opponents, especially legends."
