At ONE on Prime Video 4, there are big stakes on the line in the bantamweight division between Stephen Loman and Bibiano Fernandes. The rising Filipino contender will look to add a huge name to his win streak whilst former champion Fernandes tries to prove that he still belongs at the top.
Never one to shy away from giving his insight into the biggest fights, Eduard Folayang has weighed in on this title eliminator match-up.
The two-time lightweight champion knows a little bit about competing inside the circle, clocking in with the most fights in ONE Championship’s history- a staggering total of 23.

“Filipino fans are in for a treat. If Stephen Loman can beat Bibiano Fernandes, it will be huge. He will cement his place among the greatest bantamweights in ONE.”
Despite Stephen Loman’s momentum, going undefeated in ONE Championship so far, he will need to level up against a legend like Fernandes.
“I don’t want to be careless” – Stephen Loman doesn’t want to make mistakes against Bibiano Fernandes
‘The Sniper’ is looking to add the biggest win of his career to his ten-fight win-streak when he next steps into the circle. In a matter of days, the Team Lakay representative will take on the former champion of the division and a legend in his own right, Bibiano Fernandes.
The stacked ONE on Prime Video 4 lineup also features lightweight world champion Christian Lee going for double-champ status against current welterweight titleholder Kiamrian Abbasov.
Ahead of the biggest fight of his career to date, 'The Sniper' sat down with ONE Championship to talk about his preparations. Loman is refusing to underestimate the former champ:
“I don’t want to be careless in the fight, so I have to approach things tactically. One mistake could cost me the fight. He’s that dangerous. We’re working on a good game plan to beat Bibiano Fernandes."
Stephen Loman’s team is no stranger to the dangers of fighting Bibiano Fernandes. Speaking about his training camp and how it’s helped to get him ready, Loman added:
“Our team has a lot of experience fighting him, with Kevin [Belingon] having almost four fights against him. We know how he works, his strengths, his weaknesses. I’m confident we have the right strategy in this one.”
