The Eduardo Nunez vs. Miguel Marriaga round-by-round updates are here to provide fans with real-time analysis and live scoring of the upcoming bout. The two men lock horns in the super featherweight division in a fight of two distinct career paths.

Nunez, who is 10 years his opponent's junior, has a record of 26 wins and just one less, with plenty of time to still make something of himself in the sport. He has also authored a 16-fight win streak. Moreover, all his victories have come by way of either knockout or TKO.

Meanwhile, Marriaga, who is much older, is more accomplished and experienced. The 31-7 veteran has competed for world titles before and has even shared the ring with the great Vasiliy Lomachenko. Unfortunately, at 37 years old with a 2-4 record, including a three-fight losing streak before his recent win, he is declining.

Naturally, he is not expected to win his 10, three-minute, round bout, and the oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook reflect that. Nunez is listed as a staggering -4000 favorite, while Marriaga is a +1500 underdog.

Eduardo Nunez vs. Miguel Marriaga

Round 1: The round opens with a tentative Nunez, while Marriaga seems more intent on dealing damage. Not much from Nunez, while Marriaga throws with heat behind everything he does. Nunez will have to up his output in order to impose himself on the fight. 10-9 Marriaga

Round 2: Now, Nunez is more aggressive, taking the initiative from Marriaga with more intent. He isn't cutting the ring off, but he doesn't need to. Marriaga isn't necessarily making him pay for storming forward in a straight line. Nunez rocks Marriaga badly with an overhand right. It's the biggest moment of the fight so far. Marriaga survives. 10-8 Nunez

Round 3: Nunez smells blood in the water. He isn't swarming Marriaga, but his volume of punches is increasing. Marriaga isn't a sitting duck though. He's fighting back. However, Nunez is just busier and his activity and pressure are both rising. It'll be up to Marriaga to regain some respect. 10-9 Nunez

Round 4: Nunez is throwing with tremendous power. He's ferocious, alternating between the body and head. He drops Marriaga, but Marriaga recovers. He doesn't seem to have recovered fully, and a stoppage seems inevitable with the way the fight is trending.

Marriaga is taking a lot of damage. This is Nunez's most dominant round. 10-8 Nunez

Round 5: Marriaga shows some fight, landing his own power shots, but it seems more due to Nunez being reckless on the front foot. Nunez is still vicious, landing harder than Marriaga. It still feels like a matter of time before Nunez scores the win, he's landing far bigger shots than Marriaga.

Credit to Marriaga, he isn't quitting on himself, but this is now Nunez's fight to lose. 10-9 Nunez

Round 6: Nunez isn't giving Marriaga an inch, swarming him. Marriaga survives, but Nunez is determined to stop him. He's walking him down and throwing with intent to behead. He lands a sneaky body shot that sits Marriaga down right as the round ends.

Marriaga makes it back to his feet, but his corner stops the fight before he can return for round seven. 10-8 Nunez

Official Decision: Eduardo Nunez def. Miguel Marriaga via KO in round six (between rounds)
