Dante Leon is more than happy to share the Circle with reigning ONE world championships Tye and Kade Ruotolo.
When it comes to submission grappling in ONE Championship, all stops go through the Ruotolo brothers. Kade Ruotolo currently sits as the ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion while Tye Ruotolo is holding things down as the welterweight king.
Leon, who made a pretty big splash in his promotional debut last month against Bruno Pucci, will look to take another step toward contendership this Friday night when he meets Norwegian sensation Tommy Langaker at ONE Fight Night 27 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium.

With a win over Langaker, Leon could very well be next up for either Kade or Tye Ruotolo. As far as which one he'd prefer, the two-time IBJJF world champion doesn't really have a preference.
"But for me 170 or 185 is feasible, is doable, and either one of them," Leon said during the ONE Fight Night 27 media day. "I have a history with Tye, I don't have any history with Kade, as far as matches go. Both those matches interest me and have a little different storyline to them."
Dante Leon faces one of BJJ's most experienced grapplers at ONE Fight Night 27
Of course, getting a win at ONE Fight Night 27 will be easier said than done when he meets one of the most experienced grapplers in the sport today.
Tommy Langaker goes into ONE's first event of 2025 with 135 career wins and first-place finishes at the IBJJF Worlds, European Open, and ADCC European Trials in 2023.
Langaker also has his own experience with the Ruotolo, going toe-to-toe with Kade Ruotolo in back-to-back bouts between June 2023 and January 2024.
