Elon Musk recently gave his take on Joe Rogan's opinion regarding Donald Trump. Musk agreed with Rogan that the media has been attempting to portray Trump as a villain for a long time.
In a recent episode of his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), Rogan spoke with comedians Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir about people's positive attitudes toward Trump. He also recounted when American talk show host and television producer Oprah Winfrey asked Trump if he planned to run for president.
However, in recent years, Trump has been chastised by the Western media, including Winfrey, who endorsed Kamala Harris in the presidential election last month. Rogan found it startling, as his comments were reported by the New York Post, which said:
''What we saw is the greatest media psy-op [psychological operation] in history. What you’re seeing with Trump, regardless of his flaws, is a massive concentrated psy-op. They’ve distorted who he is to the point where most people think that way. Most people think that way. They’ve had narratives.''

Rogan then stated that Trump's victory in the presidential elections would finally turn things around:
''They had control of the media up until now. This election was the first time they didn’t really have control of the media anymore. Because of us, because of podcasts. Because of social media, because of X.” [H/t: New York Post]
Musk, who is an avid Trump supporter took to X and agreed with Rogan's remarks, writing:
''True''
Rogan has been a big contributor to Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential election. Prior to the elections, Trump appeared on the UFC commentator's podcast to discuss a variety of topics, which received a significant number of views, with Rogan eventually backing Trump.
As for Musk, the Tesla CEO has expressed his support for Trump on numerous occasions.
Joe Rogan on Volodymyr Zelensky trying to appear on his podcast
In a past episode of JRE, Joe Rogan criticized Joe Biden's authorization to Volodymyr Zelensky for the use of the Army Tactical Missile System in specific regions of Russia. This sparked a debate among people worldwide, with many advocating for Zelensky to be on Rogan's show.
In the aforementioned podcast episode, Rogan discussed the possibility of a worldwide conflict while expressing surprise at Zelensky once trying to appear on his podcast:
''Zelensky tried to come on. They tried to get Zelensky on. I was like, what are you talking about??''
