Elon Musk recently enlightened Joe Rogan about how Donald Trump's mistreatment by Twitter (now X) authorities led to him taking over the platform. Musk accused the platform's previous authorities of imposing restrictions on Trump's account despite the POTUS's positive messages.
Musk supported Trump openly in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Elections. However, he had been following Trump's works for a long time. During his appearance on episode no. 2223 of the Joe Rogan Experience, Musk informed Rogan about how he interacted with lots of X users before acquiring it.
The X CEO mentioned that he found some anomalies in the way the platform functioned. However, Musk ran out of patience when X banned Trump's account permanently after the U.S. Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021. He pointed out how X removed Trump's account after accusing him of "dog-whistling" his supporters despite none of his posts violating their rules:

"[After the interactions and research] I'm like, something weird is going on here. If they change this system, I could tell immediately. And obviously when they de-platformed Trump, that was insane. And the things he was posting, like, he was posting good things. [Like] Hey, do not riot, do not do any destruction of property, please stay calm, that’s the things he was posting. And then they [theaX authorities] say that it's some sort of dog-whistling, he means the opposite."

Joe Rogan is easily one of the most famous podcasters worldwide. He has hosted several noteworthy celebrities of the modern era, including Mark Zuckerberg as well.
However, the 57-year-old wasn't particularly keen on having Donald Trump as his guest for an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience. However, Musk had his own beliefs about Rogan finally agreeing to host Trump. An X update from the Tesla CEO showcased that he believed Rogan would sit with Trump soon:

Musk's prediction materialized about a couple of weeks after he made it. Trump finally took to the platform of Rogan's coveted podcast in episode no. 2219.
