Joe Rogan labeled an LGBTQ+ narrative related to the devastating wildfires in California as "nonsense."

Earlier this month, a wildfire started in the neighborhood of Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles, California. Since then, the natural disaster has escalated into over 20 deaths, thousands of buildings burning down, and billions of dollars in damage.

Rogan recently discussed the tragic events during episode #2257 of the 'Joe Rogan Experience' featuring comedian Bryan Callen. The legendary podcaster brought up an article that praised an LGBTQ+ fire chief for "proving lesbians get it done."

Rogan reacted to the article with the following response:

"It's even dumber than I thought... So, what does that mean? Elon Musk is proving heterosexuals build rockets? That's what that means? It's nonsense. It's nonsense, people writing nonsense things. It's so f*cking dumb."

Rogan and Callen went on to say the LGBTQ+ fire chief should be judged by her work, not by her sexuality. Callen also claimed he wasn't happy with the article placing "a group above an individual."

Joe Rogan explains how the alleged origin of Hollywood relates to current California fires

The California wildfires have created mass concern about the dangers of natural disasters. Some have claimed climate change could be a significant factor, while others were more focused on the lack of preparation by state officials.

During the previously mentioned podcast episode, Joe Rogan slammed the climate change narratives by giving a brief history of California's weather:

"You can't call it climate change because LA has been like that forever. The reason why they filmed in LA in the f*cking first place was because LA doesn't have rain. That's why they started putting Hollywood down there." [1:35:55-1:36:11]

The initial fire in Palisades reportedly escalated due to heavy winds in California. Gavin Newsom, the state's governor, has since received backlash for not having the resources, including water, to stop the natural disaster from creating more damage.

Progress has continued to be made in California, leading to the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers being allowed to play their NBA home games. Meanwhile, UFC 311 will also take place inside Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 18.
